THE LAST OF ALL

This report about him spread through the whole of Judea and in all the surrounding region. (Lk 7:17)

Lord, thank you so much for again choosing me as one of your trusted stewards. In spite of my unpopularity, you still made me occupy the last seat. This humbling experience has taught me a lot in terms of accepting my rightful place at your throne. May your love and grace abound in me as I look forward to more fruitful days ahead. With much love and thanksgiving I pray, in Jesus Name.
God has once more given me the chance and opportunity to take the back seat so to speak. In the recently concluded elections, I was at the tail end, short of not entering the set of the newly elected Board Members. It was an eye opener on my part that I am not as popular in the group as I have expected and have not done any sort of sensational work that can merit people to talk about me. These are the realities that were opened to me which the Lord wanted me to learn and experience.
Jesus rose a dead man to life! This report spread throughout the whole of Judea that made the Lord an instant sensation. He became popular and people began to seek for Him. People have seen and began to speak of the miracle He had done but the Lord's intention is not to be popular but simply to show His compassion and pity for the mother who lost her son.

Serving the Lord is not a popularity contest. It is all about the love and compassion that the Lord has for His people. He wants you to have this kind of heart in you and all good things shall be added to you as well.

Friend, be thankful that the Lord made you occupy the last seat. Leaders who sits in front are more prone to being blind for they can not see what is behind them. You are seated at the back so that you may see well what is in front of you. God wants you to push His people forward rather than pulling them which is harder to do.

God has given you this grace so that in all things, He may be glorified!

SERVING THE LORD IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST.
