SERVANT OF ALL

"But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all. For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mk 10:43-45)
Lord, in the richness and greatness of your glory, you have established a business for me where you have placed me as its owner. It is a service oriented company where most of the work depends on me most especially in dealing with clients and principals. Holding the top position requires a lot of service in order for the company to grow. I really have to be a servant of all!
True greatness comes in being a servant of all. What you do for others makes you who you are. How well you serve or deliver makes up your character in the eyes of other people and not the position you hold. A position always requires work and service; the higher the position, the greater service it requires. Position without service is just like an empty box with a label. Nothing can come out of it.

Friend, as you work and serve, do not be mindful of the position you hold for it is just a title that gives you the authority to accomplish the responsibilities that the Lord has given you. Focus on what is required of the position you hold so that people may benefit from the work and service that you do. Your mission is to serve and be a servant of all!
