Great things start Small

"It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth; yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes the greatest of all shrubs, and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade" (Mark 4:30-32).

Reflection:
Humility sown in the hearts of men grows patiently until it achieves greatness not for its own but for the benefit of others.

Prayer:
Father in heaven, your word is the seed that is planted in my heart where your kingdom reigns. A seed that you have caused to grow in order to bear fruit. I believed that even the smallest act of goodness that I do today can make a great difference in the lives of others. I desire not to be great, but I desire that the greatness of your kingdom lives and reigns in me now and forever. All these I humbly ask and pray, in Jesus Name. Amen.
